Page Top Messages are located at the top of pages in the SWEHB. Normally they are empty. When it is necessary to get a message out to all users of a particular category of pages, a message will be put in the message page for that category and it is then viewable on pages in that category.
1. Sender Pages
Messages may be stored up in the page body. When a message is sent out, it is copied into the Excerpt. The receiving pages have the Excerpt-Include already in them at the top of the page. The receiving page will display the excerpt when there is one.
